Literature Text

So here I lay now
Crossing the lines when you smile
For each time you laughed

And I can't help but
To find myself wondering
Why there are no more

You hide your face when I ask

No one tried too hard
To make an aching girl laugh
When she faked a smile

'Cause "She seems happy enough"
I was looking in the mirror this morning and saw a smile line, and "crossing lines when you smile" stuck in my head, then this happened. As far as form goes, I guess it's semi-haiku.

I liked this because of its last stanza but i'm also completely sure that if you had turned this into a page long poem it probably would have been beautiful, if written the write way.
